A particular perspective we never get tired of hearing is from Serhii, one of our talented frontend developers. Serhii contributes his vast skills and endless creativity to bring his team’s digital vision to life by creating beautiful user interfaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics with functionality.
But what is the user interface exactly?
Serhii explains that the user interface (UI) is an essential element of any website or application because of its leading role in the user experience. UI deals with all the visible elements of a digital application – what the user sees and interacts with. There’s a lot riding on UI as it is how users begin to form their overall perception of a product or business. If your UI is not up to scratch, it gives the impression that your business isn’t either. This is why UI designers play an important role in the design of user-focused digital assets.
Serhii’s journey leading up to becoming a Brainiac has been marked by a rich blend of education and hands-on experience. After graduating with a Computer Science degree, Serhii spent 5 years as a back-end Developer where he gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of software architecture and data handling. This has given him a holistic understanding of the entire technology stack, enabling him to smoothly bridge the gap between frontend and back-end development.
“What excites me most about my work is the ability to transform abstract concepts into tangible, visually captivating interfaces. Every line of code I write and every pixel I tweak contributes to the bigger picture” he says. The opportunity to continuously learn and adapt to UI’s ever-evolving landscape keeps him motivated as every day brings a new and exciting challenge.

When he isn’t charming users with his creative frontend concepts, Serhii likes to spend his time with his family, sample some of the best burger joints, and collect vinyls of his favourite musical artists. His entrepreneurial spirit would like to see him start a small business in the future, and his curious mind wants him to travel the world more.
