Summary

A major e-commerce brand in the Benelux faced a recurring problem with incomplete and inconsistent product information. Titles were uneven, descriptions were often incorrect or sparse, images were limited, and filters were out of sync across product families. These content gaps created search issues, reduced conversion, slowed internal workflows, and led to unnecessary returns. The retailer needed a reliable way to raise catalog quality at scale without increasing manual effort.

WeAreBrain built the first working prototype of an AI-driven enrichment engine using the PowerSuite.ai stack. This setup improved product data completeness, fixed inconsistencies, generated high-quality content automatically, and prepared the path for richer images and product relationships.

Stronger product data would raise conversion and reduce returns. It would also cut PIM workload and speed up the onboarding of new products. The retailer saw clear upside in using AI to enrich content consistently and automatically.

 

Solution approach

PowerSuite AI, is a SaaS platform focused on product catalog enrichment such as:

  • Automated product classification.
  • Attribute cleaning and enrichment.
  • Generation of titles, descriptions, translations.
  • Image improvement workflows.
  • Identification of product variants and related items.

The platform required no initial model training, offered simple API integration, and could adapt to the retailer’s taxonomy and rules.

What we delivered

This was delivered in collaboration with our partner:

  • API integration between the retailer’s stack and PowerEnrich.
  • Preparation of the full catalog for targeted fine-tuning.
  • A direct link between the AI layer and the retailer’s product admin console.
  • A unified internal interface for managing and approving enriched content.
