WeAreBrain has a strong commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion, and has been working actively to embed diversity policies into the entire organisation.
WeAreBrain has implemented a Non-Discrimination and Harassment Policy to create an inclusive and respectful environment across all its activities. WeAreBrain strictly prohibits discrimination based on factors such as age, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, indigenous background, nationality, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status by any WeAreBrain partner or staff member. Additionally, WeAreBrain unequivocally condemns all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, whether it manifests as physical, verbal, or any other form of misconduct, by any WeAreBrain partner or staff member.
Harassment includes any actions that unreasonably disrupt another person’s participation in a WeAreBrain activity or create an intimidating, offensive, abusive, or hostile environment. In cases of sexual harassment, this Policy encompasses behaviors such as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or unwelcome verbal or physical acts of a sexual nature. These guidelines apply to the conduct of WeAreBrain founders, partners, freelancers, as well as WeAreBrain staff members.
Furthermore, WeAreBrain expects all of its staff members to uphold and advance the fundamental principles outlined in this Policy when participating in WeAreBrain’s activities and throughout their professional pursuits. Any allegations or reports of discrimination and/or harassment should be promptly brought to the attention of the following individuals: The CEO of WeAreBrain, The HR Business Partner of WeAreBrain, or the WeAreBrain Agency Group Advisor. WeAreBrain’s leadership will conduct an investigation into the matter while ensuring the procedural rights of both the complainant and the accused.
During such an investigation:
Whether or not WeAreBrain determines that the Policy has been violated, WeAreBrain will communicate the results of its investigation to both the complainant and the accused party. If WeAreBrain concludes that this Policy has been violated, it will take appropriate corrective and preventive actions. The specific actions taken in any particular case will depend on the nature and severity of the reported conduct. Consequences for individuals found in violation of this Policy may include a verbal reprimand, a recommendation for counseling, removal from office, or other appropriate actions. In some instances, it may involve restructuring of a WeAreBrain project or working group.
This Policy explicitly states that making a false report or providing false information about alleged harassment or discrimination is also a violation. All WeAreBrain staff members must agree to adhere to this Policy in writing.
